Mission 1 — Where Every Agent Begins

Welcome, Agent.

If you are reading this, it means you have chosen to begin—not with speed, power, or scale—but with care.

This is Operation Hummingbird, the first mission of the Eduk@s Regenerative Game, and it is intentionally simple.

Not because what lies ahead is small—
but because everything meaningful starts small.

🌱 WHY WE BEGIN WITH A PLANT

Before strategies, before projects, before collaboration, we begin with life itself.

A plant in a pot is fully dependent on us.
Its needs are not complex—but they are precise.

To cultivate a plant from seed is to cultivate:

  • Patience

  • Observation

  • Consistency

  • Discipline

  • Humility

  • Respect for natural timing

This mission trains the very skills you will need for every future project, mission, and goal—personal, professional, or planetary.

If you can care for life attentively when it is small and quiet,
you are preparing yourself to care for systems when they become complex.

🌿 YOUR FIRST MEDICINAL ALLY: ARTEMISA (ARTEMISIA ANNUA)

The first official medicinal plant of the Eduk@s Game begins with the letter A.

Artemisa (Artemisia Annua) has accompanied humanity for thousands of years across cultures and continents. It is known for its resilience, protective qualities, and deep relationship with traditional medicine.

As part of this mission:

  • The Alegría Natural Foundation offers a limited number of organic Artemisa seed kits, produced by responsible growers aligned with our mission of optimal wellbeing for Humanity and the planet.

  • These kits are available through the Eduk@s Store while supplies last.

If Artemisa is not available in your country, you may:

  • Choose another medicinal plant beginning with A (Aloe, Ashwagandha, Angelica, Albahaca, Achiote…)

As an Eduk@s Agent, you are invited to:

  • Learn respectfully

  • Observe carefully

  • Avoid extraction without understanding

  • Protect and honor living knowledge

Over the coming weeks, we will explore:

  • The history of Artemisa across cultures

  • Its traditional uses

  • The biology of medicinal compounds

  • The responsibility that comes with working with living systems

This is not about consumption.
It is about relationship.

Your assignment:

Take one small regenerative action, starting with your plant.

  1. Sow your seed

  2. Prepare its environment

  3. Observe it daily

  4. Adjust gently, not forcefully

  • What did you notice?

  • What surprised you?

  • What was harder than expected?

  • What became easier with attention?

  • What does your plant need—and what do you need?

Reflection is how experience becomes wisdom.

🌍 SYSTEMS THINKING IN PRACTICE

As you care for your plant, notice:

  • The relationship between light, water, soil, and growth

  • How small changes have visible effects

  • How timing matters more than control

These same principles apply to:

  • Teams

  • Projects

  • Families

  • Communities

  • Planetary wellbeing

Nature is already teaching.
You are learning to listen.
